STEP BY STEP: HOW A ROOT CANAL IS DONE
- ASSESSMENT AND XRAYS - We take detailed images to pinpoint the exact area of infection and plan your treatment.
- LOCAL ANAESTHETIC - The tooth and surrounding tissue may by completely numbed off a pain free experience.
- ACCESSING THE TOOTH- A small opening is made to reach the infected pulp inside the tooth.
- CLEANING AND SCULPTED - The damaged tissue is removed, and the inner canals are thoroughly cleaned and shaped using precision instruments.
- DISINFECTION- The space is disinfected to remove any remaining bacteria.
- FILLING THE CANAL- Special biocompatible material is placed to seal and protect the canals.
- RESTORING THE TOOTH - A filling or crown is fitted to strengthen and protect your tooth for the future.
- AFTERCARE GUIDANCE - We provide tailored advice to help your tooth heal and stay healthy.
