WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR HYGIENE CLEAN?
- Assessment
Your hygienist will examine your teeth and gums, checking for signs of plaque, tartar, or gum inflammation.
- Scaling
Using gentle ultrasonic or manual tools, hardened tartar is removed from around the teeth, and gum line.
- Airflow Stain Removal
A gentle jet of warm water, fine powder, and air is used to remove surface stains caused by tea, coffee, wine, or smoking. This leaves teeth brighter without damaging enamel.
- Polishing
Your teeth are polished to a smooth glass- like finish, making it harder for plaque to build up.
- Home Care Advice
Your hygienist will give tailored tips for keeping your mouth fresh and healthy between visits.
